The Pinole Point Business Park Phase II project consisted of construction of two new concrete tilt-up, core and shell warehouses in a master-planned industrial park. Building 1 is 250,000-sf, with 50 dock height doors, two grade-level doors, and 255 parking stalls. Building 2 is 225,000-sf, with 37 dock height doors, two grade-level doors, and 239 parking stalls. Both buildings feature 30’ clear height ceilings, 50’ x 52’ typical bay spacing, and numerous skylights. The buildings are equipped with ESFR fire suppression systems and 3,000 amp, 480/277 volt, 3-phase power. In additizon to automobile parking, each building has a truck court with 65’ concrete apron and secured truck yard. Pinole Point Business Park was designed with the goal of LEED certification. Prior to construction, Big-D oversaw the demolition of an existing, former steel factory to make way for the new development. All work was completed in just six months.
