Crate & Barrel Clearance Center & Warehouse

This project consisted of construction of two new concrete tilt-up warehouses for retail tenant Crate & Barrel, located in Prologis’ International Park of Commerce. The larger 827,000-sf warehouse is utilized for furniture storage and included 178 dock doors. The 398,000-sf smaller building is a distribution center for houseware products and direct fulfillment orders for Crate & Barrel and features 76 dock height doors. The project is LEED Gold certified, achieved by use of numerous sustainable strategies, including recycled and locally sourced construction materials, efficient mechanical and electrical systems, and low-emitting materials. Additionally, during construction Big-D was able to divert 75% of construction waste from the landfill.
