This project consisted of four structures on a 17-acre site in Washington’s Columbia Basin, including the 26,337-sf temple, 16,214-sf stake center, small utility building, and a pavilion. The temple is a single attached central spire structure with Portuguese Branco Cristal granite cladding, art glass, and custom bronze doors. Interior spaces include two sealing rooms, two endowment rooms, a celestial room, instruction rooms, baptistry, dressing rooms, waiting areas, clothing rental area, laundry room, and administrative offices.
The Stake Center is a one-story, wood-framed structure with a brick exterior. Interior spaces include a large chapel with rostrum, cultural center with stage area, three office areas for local bishops and clerks, a high council room, office areas for stake president and clerk, serving area with kitchen amenities, thirteen classrooms, a baptismal font, and a distribution center.
